California Blog #39: The Star Spangled Issue

  The fireworks are blazing in the sky, and America celebrate its birthday. It's the 4th of July! I remember one time when my dad and I went on vacation to California to visit the Klavers, and we got to celebrate the 4th of July at the park in Santa Cruz. It was back in 2005. We got together, rock climbed, and saw the fireworks. It was huge! This is what the fireworks look like. So here's what we're thinking. When I live in California sometime in the future, maybe we can plan on celebrating 4th of July at Santa Cruz and maybe have ourselves a 4th of July party at the Klavers house in Scotts Valley. We can have special Backyard BBQ burgers with sweet BBQ sauce glazed on with American cheese in it, and some hot dogs. And who could forget another choice of pulled pork sandwiches. We'll also have chips, soda, and fruit too. Just imagine enjoying 4th of July here in California anytime we want! Won't that be fun? My next idea for when we celebrate 4th of July is ...

California Blog #38: Cruisin’

  All aboard! Okay you know what, forget about the intro… let’s just get to it. Whenever we plan on a vacation in California, we come up with a really cool idea for this one. That is in fact, going on a cruise. I’m thinking taking a cruise trip to paradise. So to start this blog up, here are some ideas for cruise line trips. In other words, all aboard. 1. A Cruise Trip To Hawaii - To get to Hawaii, we'd have to choose a Carnival cruise line to take you there. It may take 15 days to get to Hawaii, that way we can enjoy ourselves. Then the ship shops by Honolulu, Maui, or Waikiki. We can even hang out at the beach, shop around, and learn how to surf. I almost forgot...I wanna learn how to hula dance. Maybe we get the time to go to a luau. I wonder where we can hike around Hawaii and experience a unique natural environment. Fact: This natural environment is known for the waterfall for swimming at Wailua Falls in the island of Kauai. You can swim in Wailua Falls and it w...
