California Blog #34: Holiday Cheer

Image
Okay, I’m gonna blow your minds with this one. Back in 1997, I got to spend the holidays in California with my grandma Rose and grandpa Joe in December. Then, I spent Christmas day here with my family at Aunt Leta and Uncle Mark’s house. We got to open up the presents, spend time with the family, visited my grandma Helen, and got to hang out at Santa Cruz. Then in December 2005, we did it again. Wow, this brings us some good memories here. Now get this, what do you think that maybe if I visit or move to California, we can spend the holiday season here in Scotts Valley and in Santa Cruz. We can celebrate the holidays by going to the beach for a Boardwalk Winter Wonderland. We can have some fun here, celebrate the season at the beach, get our pictures taken with Santa, enjoy some classic holiday movies at Neptune’s stage, enjoy some holiday s’mores, get on some rides, and enjoy the view. Plus, maybe we can go see a Christmas parade somewhere downtown. We can also see the whole para...

Nearly all of what historians have learned about the first Thanksgiving comes from a single eyewitness report: a letter written in December 1621 by Edward Winslow, one of the 100 or so people who sailed from England aboard the  Mayflower  in 1620 and founded Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts. William Bradford, Plymouth’s g...

And during my visit at the Klavers’ house in California, I got slimed in the backyard for the very first time. And if you thought I can get slimed for one time only, think again. We’re doing it again! When I visit California or live in California again, we’re have another Nickelodeon themed party at Scotts Valley. It’s that time again to get slimed on the head! 2019 is when I got slimed for the first time since I visited. Now here how you can make your own green slime at home. And guess what, it’s really easy to do. So listen carefully and pay close attention. All you need is vanilla pudding and some green food coloring, and that’s it. According to Seventeen.com, it also says that some recipes included the likes of applesauce, oatmeal, flour, and/or Jell-O. If you would like to make homemade green slime smoother like so, use plenty of vanill...
