California Blog #25: Concerts

Image
My next future in California is gonna be a challenging one, and it's a good one too. When I move back here in the future, I will enjoy plenty of concerts and special events in the Golden state. My first part of concert shows that I wanna go to is at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz. The event at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk is Bands on the Beach located at the beach bandstand where Free Friday Nights is held. Not just see concerts, but also see free movies in the summer season too. My second idea to see concerts is an outdoor event in San Francisco. If I can choose an outdoor concert event for example, it would be Bruce Hornsby. My next idea for seeing a concert here is watching Green Day perform. I also thought about participating at the  Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival for the very first time. Fact is that the  Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival is a music festival held annually in San Francisco, California, United States, at Golden Gate Park. The festival is produced...

California Blog #24: Coachella

Image
Have you ever been to a music festival in California for some time on a daily basis? Well today, I'll be blogging to you about my first future trip to the Coachella. The Music and Arts Festival here at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA. So what is the meaning of Coachella anyway?  Coachella comes from a misspelling of the valley's old name, Conchilla, from a Spanish word meaning "little shell" that referenced the fossil shells found in the area. Some locals believe it was a misspelling of Conchilla, a Spanish word for the small white snail shells found in the valley's sandy soil, vestiges of a lake that dried up over 3,000 years ago. Coachella happens for two weekend every year. In the future when I'm living in California once again, I wanna participate at Coachella Music and Arts Festival. It would be just like the time I j...

Getting to live in California again is one thing, but the one other thing that would also be fun besides that is the place that I wanna visit for the first time. Two simple words for you. San Diego There's a lot that you should know about visiting San Diego. So here's some info about it. San Diego is frequently referred to as the "Birthplace of California", as it was the first site visited and settled by Europeans on what is now the West Coast of the United States. And San Diego is h istorically home to the Kumeyaay people. It's  main economic engines are military and defense-related activities, tourism, international trade, and manufacturing.  The city is the economic center of the San Diego–Tijuana conurbation. If you look closely, there's an interesting fact about it. To the left lies San Diego, California and on the right is Tijuana, Baja California. The building in the foreground on the San Diego side is a sewage treatment plant built to clean the Tijua...
