California Blog #31: Trick or Treat!

In many times in this country, we celebrate Halloween every October. Yes, I know exactly what you’re thinking. Dressing up, going to parties, trick-or-treating, scaring people… It’s always like that.  But to prove them wrong, I’d like to talk about Halloween for a few minutes. And I promise you it won’t take long at all.

Here’s my list of ideas.

Idea one: My first thought for it is maybe we can all get together and visit Spirit Halloween Store and browse around for some new costumes to try out, find something to decorate the house to make it scary, and maybe look at some AtmosFear FX for something to scare people. Together we’d make up our own haunted house in the backyard.

Idea two: Go trick-or-treating together downtown. We can take Shanann and family with us along with Leta, Mark, my cousins, and my family with me too. Then, we get a big scare from somebody we know when we walk to the door.

Idea three: I’ve also thought about planning a Halloween party at the Klavers house or maybe at my apartment in the Northern California area. I can invite my friends and family and we’d have the time of our lives. I’d be a great DJ and play music. To do that, we need to set things up including the party lights, the foods and drinks, the music, and of course the fog machine. I remember when I used to have a Halloween party at Americana Music Academy, and I enjoyed it a lot. Everyone was here, and they loved the music I played for everyone.

Idea four: Halloween movie night at the Boardwalk. Plus, another idea is to have a Halloween party there too. Of course maybe you guys will be involved in it also.

Idea five: If there’s a Halloween parade downtown somewhere in that area, maybe we can join in. Who knows where we can end up running into. I remember the zombie walk I was involved in when I was living in Lawrence one time. Everyone was scaring me away. Yikes!

I remember when I was little, my mom and I were walking downtown and I saw you dressed up as a fortune teller for Halloween. That was a long time ago. I really liked your costume a lot.

If you like this spooky blog, feel free to send me some ideas on a special family Halloween movie night at your place or somewhere downtown.

Now in case you didn’t know, they filmed lots of horror movies in Hollywood. Plus some tv shows based on horror legends. But that’s not all. Hollywood also does family Halloween tv shows, movies, and Halloween specials like them. Fox also does The Simpsons in Treehouse of Horror. Nickelodeon also does Halloween specials too back in the day, and it also does more of that every October. It’s always been like that. Who are you gonna call?

GHOSTBUSTERS!!

Anyway, that’s all for today.

Enjoy your day, and as always, have a happy Halloween.
