California Blog #13: Water Parks
Everywhere you look in the state of California or anywhere in United States, there are many water parks. There's one in Kansas City, New York City, Atlanta, Orlando, and much much more on a daily basis. There's even water parks in both Northern and Southern California. But there's one water park that I really wanna try when I move back there in the future. And that is...
Raging Water in San Jose!
The biggest thing about Raging Waters is that there's plenty of water attractions in this park alone. Here is what that map of Raging Waters shows us how.
This is what it looks like.
When I ride the Barracuda Blaster, I feel like I'm water skiing in the slide the whole time, which is why I go down many times up or down.
I also wanna try the speed slides. My choices for that are those between the White Lightning or Blue Thunder.
For me, I would choose Blue Thunder because it goes faster. And Aunt Leta would choose White Lightning. Shannan would think that's faster too. Duh!
Whenever I relax, I go to the Lazy River for cool relaxing fun. It's like the one in Typhoon Lagoon, but looks like tropical settings in the oasis.
Another option that's perfect is the wave pool, which is also just like the one in Typhoon Lagoon too. They say that the waves are like very massive, cause when you catch one, they're awesome! Now, I don't know what to tell you about, but there's even a FlowRider for surfing.
Imagine doing that every summer in the future. In fact, maybe Kieran or Theo James (T.J.) would like to celebrate a birthday party there. Just a thought though, perhaps.
One time, I went to Oceans of Fun in Kansas City. And I had a great time there. One of the best things that I like about it is that its beach setting with plenty of surfing the waves, and the water slides, and the pirate ship playhouse. Another water park I went to in Kansas City was the one called Schlitterbahn. It was the greatest water park I went to of all time. There were plenty of rides, and a huge lazy river with massive waves dropping. Too bad it's not there anymore. Whatever happened to that Schlitterbahn anyway?
Whenever I feel hot outside going for a walk, riding my bike, or perhaps exercising at home or outside, I would go to the beach to cool off. But for special times like these, I might take Aunt Leta, Uncle Mark, my cousins, and my folks to Raging Waters in San Jose. Sometime in the future, I can feel the sun warming up all the time.
