California Blog #02: San Francisco

California diary #02

While I was on vacation in California, my dad and I along with Aunt Leta went to San Francisco to visit Shanann, Miles, and baby Kieran. We had a great time hanging out at San Fran last year. We got to have barbeque for lunch, went window shopping, got ourselves some ice cream, hang out at the park, and even got to look at the houses seen on 'Full House'. I also got to check out murals and other art including the Mondrian window. During my future in California, I have a couple of plans on visiting San Francisco, hang out there, and maybe check out some museums for the time being. San Francisco is the home of the Golden Gate Bridge where the sightseeing is anything.

I'll never forget the year Shanann and Miles finally got married. It was a really great day for the Klavers and everybody to check out. The best part of of that special day is that I got to see Aunt Tammy along with Sequoia and Aurora, Ryan, Brendan, all of their friends and family, and of course Ollie. Before we got to the wedding, I got to go to the Walt Disney museum where I got to see the exhibition of Disney's work where it all started with a mouse. At the museum, I even got to try Bendaberg root beer during lunchtime. It was brewed better with perfection. On our way to the Golden Gate Bridge, I saw a San Francisco Love Tours bus outside. The artwork on the van was groovy and with all the tie dye and psychedelic detail similar to Peter Max's art which is inspired just like the 60s.

We had a great time here, we were dancing, we enjoyed dinner, and we even got together. We had such a good time there and it was so much fun. I really enjoyed the food and soda there. It was awesome.

Now last year in San Fran, we walked around the city and looked at the art outside. The murals and the artwork outside were like the greatest hits of peace, love, and happiness.

The way I see San Francisco reminds me of the good old days. The view is wonderful, the places are just terrific. The city is just beautiful. And you would never find anywhere in the world with the Summer of Love like this. It's incredible.

See what I mean?

I also remember that time my dad and I went to Lands End Lookout to see the ocean. That's breakfast at Mel's Diner, Lunch at Tommy's Joynt, and a special dinner at Shanann & Miles's wedding.

You know what else, I really enjoy visiting San Francisco, and I also would love go back there again. And someday, I might get my friends to join me on that too. I also though about maybe going to Tommy's Joynt again for maybe lunch or dinner though. I really love that place. And one other thing. If you're planning on visiting San Francisco, you gotta experience the Summer of Love. Perhaps, wear some flowers in your hair.
